IT'S 2 GIRL'S DAY OUT.

So like i said earlier, I had a day out yesterday with NATALIE, i was considering whether or not i should do this blogpost because i wasn't quite ready to start this blog. After a days of consideration, here it is!
A day out with NATELIE is always a day worth looking forward to because we DRESS UP(checkout my #ootd) & I just love meeting her. (The title of this post is for her) We just cherished every single time we meet.
Time to jump into everything..
So we were initially suppose to meet up 11.30am @ Serangoon, but I overslept a lil' because i slept pretty late the day before. So we actually only met up at around 12.15pm++? My bad :/
We travelled to Toa Payoh(TP) first, I always have this impression of TP that it is not a shopping place for teenagers like us, because by the name of the place, it is OBVIOUSLY not for AUNTIES/UNCLES/AH GONGS/ AH MAS, BUT, i was wrong. Thanks to NATALIE my impression of Toa Payoh actually changed a bit? I mean of course you can't compare it to town but at least now I know that it is not just for AUNTIES/UNCLES/AH GONGS/AH MAS because 50% of the stuff that they sell are suitable for teenagers, SURPRISINGLY. Honestly speaking, i am not very attracted to the stuff there though, but the shop that attracts me the most was the shoe shop.(i wish i could give an exact location of the shop, or at least the name of the shop, but i have serious short term memory (STM) but i will go back there, get the name and let you all know again) The shoes they sell are AMAZEBALLS. It is like those you find in blogshops/town area &&& the price of those shoes are SUPER LOW. Of course we don't talk about the material I mean for such price you can't expect super good material. Call me cheapskate, but for me as long as i am able to walk in it I am okay with it ;) Anyway, like i said the price of the shoes in that shop is incredibly LOW and AFFORDABLE. Not all the shoes though, they have the more expensive ones too. For the cheap ones you can easily get a pair of OXFORD SHOES/PLATFORM SHOES at just $15! (NATALIE actually bought one of those) or you can even get a pair of CROTCHET 'TOMS' at only $10! I really wanted to get that pair of crotchet 'toms', but i have to save up so i 'persuaded' myself not to //le proud// but i promise i will go back there and get a pair of the shoes! For the more expensive ones, you can get a DR. MARTENS INSPIRED shoes at $19.95, there is another more expensive shoes but I can't remember, but it cost $20+ basically.
Other than the shop that sells cheap shoes, nothing else really attracted me, but you guys might like it, who knows?
Moving on..
We MRT-ed down to ORCHARD. We went to Far East Plaza (FEP) first and .shop window shop. (I didn't actually buy anything because I am broke and there is a serious need of saving up) We basically just walked around, saw many nice stuff but could not afford at the moment. Well, food is a necessary so can spend a bit

If i'm not wrong we walked to Cineleisure(cine) from FEP. I just love cine because their shops are all pretty cool! just that it's quite expensive~ BUT! My favourite shop is BEADSTREET because their accessories there are very cheap! You can get a pair of earrings at $0.90! and fake specs at $2-$5! I once bought a dream catcher earring(it's quite big & heavy for my ear) for $4.90! It's a pretty piece. There are many many stuff there available, i am sure if you are a teenager you should know that place. yeah so that's my favourite place in cine, CHEAP & NICE. Actually i have many favourites just that when it comes to CHEAP & NICE, I guess only BEADSTREET passed :P Okay so after that we just casually walked around because NATALIE was looking for a beanie failed. So we left for 313.
Main purpose of going to 313 is to hunt for jobs(for me). I swear it's the first time i get rejected like 9/10 times! You know what pisses me off? Is that i am a 1996, but only 15 because my birthday is a freaking on 27th December! So when everyone is turning 16 and getting a job so damn easily i am still 15 having a hard time getting a god damn job.. //
#1 FOREVER 21 // FAILED
So F21 was our first stop i thought i could easily get that job because NATALIE worked there before and she is 15 at that time as well, BUT, i keep chicken-ing out because i didnt dare to ask the counter person, until when we saw a 'NOW HIRING' sign behind the glass door of F21, i literally rushed in to ask the counter girl, and guess what?! THEY ONLY HIRE FULL TIMERS FOR NOW. you got to be kidding me..
Went to Cotton On, but didn't feel like working there so didn't ask.
#2 NEW LOOK // FAILED
Headed to new look to try my luck, & once again, they are only hiring full timers for now.. You know how depressing is that to get rejected continuously? but i didn't give up!
#3 UNIQLO // FAILED
I was pretty excited for the uniqlo one, because it is quite cool, BUT, once again got rejected.. They were looking for part timers, but it is a must to work for 6 months for part timers & guess what?! I only have 3 months so impossible to get the job.. 3 times in a row..
#4 HMV // FAILED
I was even more excited for this one because HMV have many 1D stuff and i am sure they will play their songs and everything! Also if i work there i get to see the latest 1D merchandise! Oh did i mention i was a huge 1D fan(directioners is the word)?! Yes i am so i was like so excited to ask for the job. So headed to the info counter and asked, they hire part timers yes, but working for 3 months is too short, so they rejected me.. DA HELL IS WRONG WITH WORKING FOR JUST 3 MONTHS SERIOUSLY!
I almost went to POPULAR(just beside HMV) because i am desperate!
Also went to Nichii but a bit like for aunties so i didn't asked as well.
So after so many rejection, me and NATALIE decided to leave 313 already.. We walked to Dhoby Ghaut and this actually happen! NATALIE said she wanted to get ice cream from COLD STONE, so we went in & we saw a guy that look just like BOYTHUNDER(if you have no idea who is he click on his name, that's his blog) which was quite funny. THAT'S NOT THE POINT. I actually have no intention to ask for a job there, but when I heard them singing while working and having so much fun, I just decided to try my luck! *DRUM ROLL PLEASE* AND I GOT IT! Well, 80% confirmed, i still have to go down to Cold Stone HQ to talked to the manager/boss I guess, and discuss about salary & everything else! But i was so so happy and excited i was like 'YESSSSS' when the manager said yes. *tears of joy* I can't wait to be hired and start working, i am looking forward to working with them and have fun!
That's me filling in the application form!
So if you are looking for a job, I have a few tips right here-:
ONE) Look for a job that interest you and you think that you will have fun there and not just working for the sake of it, you are not going to love your job.
TWO) When looking for a job NEVER give up, you just got to keep trying, you will never know when the opportunity is coming.
THREE) Show your excitement for the job when you are trying to ask for it! It will make the manager/supervisor think that you are really keen on getting the job, which is really important, because they wouldn't want an employee that is not enthusiastic about the job at all.
FOUR) Keep smiling.
That's all my tips for getting a job, if it doesn't work then TOO BAD, at least it worked for me :)
After getting a job *insert huge smiley face* we reach Plaza Singapura and started hunting for NATALIE'S beanie! We tried so hard to find but failed~ *stomach's growling* went down to Long John Silver(LJS) to grab early dinner :) Then off to shop for a while more before heading home. It was still quite early, but we didn't know where to go anymore & we were quite tired because we were out at 12pm+ and shop for more than 6 hours already, we went home at 6pm+.
HOME SWEET HOME
Basically that's it for that day, it was a great day out with my girl NATALIE!
